Iron (Orson) Doom Interview. He's A Dom
“Welcome, Mr. Doom. May I call you Iron? I know what your real name is, but I am respecting your preference.” “Thank you, Jack.” Iron nodded wondering how this was going to play out. A University guest episode on one of their regular podcast venues that dealt with pop culture happenings was one thing. Now that he knew the traditional format had been altered to accommodate a guest like him? He wasn’t sure what to expect. The audience male to female ratio was slightly daunting.

AN INTERVIEW WITH A DOM
This is Orson (Iron) Doom In “I’m a risk management specialist because risk excites me.” Iron's interview will be posted on September 8th 2026. This will not be included in the book as he's particular and makes these rules. *Looks right at you* I can't believe I'm following them either...but he drives a hard bargain. He's not going to behave on the page if I don't stick to his rules. Hm...now that I'm typing this out, I think he's actually trying to school me in the art of a

COMING SOON!
Willa and Iron in A BRUSH WITH IRON. This baby is going to be released soon! Yay! Can’t wait! This snippet is a fun one. The two of them have just been through a quick, but grueling car chase. He’s in the risk security business for top-tier players and she’s an artist with…? Well, I’ll just say, her own game play going on. Fortunately, Iron likes surprises. You can imagine how stunned he is when he’s expecting a frazzled woman at the end of their high-speed chase, only to f

BDSM IN A MARRIAGE. THE TRUTH.
Here’s a conversation on the topic between me and a woman who wants to sprinkle a little spice in her married life. BDSM hopeful, “Is it possible?” Me, “Hell yeah.” “But I’m worried if I bring up the subject with my husband, he’ll think I’m dirty.” “And that’s a bad thing?” “Well, no. Yes. I don’t know.” “That’s why I’d recommend you discuss your needs with your man.” “But it’s embarrassing.” “Hmm… So, you’d rather remain comfortable and unfilled, than brave one tough talk an

THE NO GOOD CHARACTERS
The ‘no good’ character is an oxymoron isn’t it? The best secondary characters in any book are the ‘no goods’. Let’s face it, whether it’s the slinky vixen who has caused your hero to stray, or the person who you thought was an honest business partner, but pockets more of the profits then he’s disclosed, the ‘no goods’ in a story have a tendency to draw the reader’s interest. The only concepts building on the page that trump this form of salacious excitement in story are the

Glue or Unglued Memories...
So this is interesting. A few months ago I went to buy some glue. It was a popular brand and I needed it for a piece of artwork. When I got to the store, this expensive item was on sale for half off, so I bought two bottles. Why not right? I use the glue to seal my pieces so I figured the extra would get used. Enter the cranky contractor. (Aptly named by the grandkids because the term Honey is sorta wimpy) Who knew? Certainly not grandma. Anyways, Mr. Cranky sees the two g

Self Tanning Gone Wrong
Okay. Today I’m trying not to go outside and enjoy the sun. I have work to do, right? Looks longingly out there. Thinks about deadline Nope. I can’t brown up. I’m too busy brown nosing an editor. Hehehe. Don’t tell. He’ll notice because I am white as dear Casper – Not in Reluctant Surrender, but in my own skin. Looks right at you Hey, did I ever tell you about the time I self tanned? No? Cries laughing I bought this product for non-white skin because I preferred the deeper to

Iron and Willa's Story
“Did you suffer for me?” he asked, reaching out to trace his hand over her lace stocking and higher still over the garters that held them up. “I like the feel of this,” he whispered, brushing his fore and middle finger over the deep impressions the tight straps made. “You knew I’d check. Did you tighten them tonight before I arrived?” This one's fun. Okay, it's a suggestively playful cerebral slow burn with some laugh out loud moments. Sexy with a few <- BDSM elements because

Greetings and salutations...
This is me on my patio. A candid shot because I always read this way on my patio. Not really. Haha! I was going through a few books, reading the parts I thought would make good teaser material for marketing while I was shopping those good ideas around to get the thumbs up or down. As to that? *Looks right at you* It was pretty brutal. Not that they were a tough crowd, it's just that I kept hearing the phrase, "That might be a bit too spicy." ***Does a double take and stares

RIDDLE ME THIS
When can you egregiously insult a woman, and make her smile at the same time? Well, I hear some of you saying it’s not possible, but it is. I watched it happen. This is why I’m blogging about it. I thought it was funny, but then I remembered another instance and I realized this could only work with a woman of a certain age. Haha! Don’t worry. I’ll explain. The woman who was given a left-handed compliment — that’s what we used to call it when there was a silver lining that too

My House in the Trees
I am loving our old, but new to us, backsplit home. You walk in through the front doors on ground level and when you get to the kitchen, family room, and lounge area you are on the second floor. See? This is my treehouse view from the family room. We have a back deck on the second floor that has a spiral staircase down to a covered patio. It's so Fab that I have to fight off the hummingbirds, Cardinals, owls, wrens, morning doves, blue Jays and martins just to get a seat. BU
